The results of these studies\u00a0have been mixed and inconclusive, with cancer studies suggesting none to unclear effectiveness, and others suggesting yoga may reduce risk factors and aid in a patient&#8217;s psychological healing process.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/highseastudio.com\/demo\/asana-wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Depositphotos_18975417_original.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-281 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/highseastudio.com\/demo\/asana-wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Depositphotos_18975417_original.jpg\" alt=\"Depositphotos_18975417_original\" width=\"770\" height=\"513\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Yoga came to the attention of an educated western public in the mid-19th century along with other topics of Indian philosophy. In the context of this budding interest, N. C.
